Description

In this talk, I am going to present the current status of a project on the numerical exploration of the double limit of spinfoams. Spinfoams arose in the previous years as a path integral formulation of transition amplitudes between quantum geometries closely related to Loop Quantum Gravity (LQG). Naively, the procedure involves first a discretization of the continuous spacetime and then the quantization of the discrete variables leading us to the full quantum theory. What in other theories is called the semicalssical limit can in our setting be described as the double limit since in order to access the full, sclassical, continuous theory we need to "revert" both actions.
