 lty Application Basics workshop October 2 at 11am to 12pm in the Space Roo

  for the zoom link\nThis workshop will provide an overview of the faculty 
 application process\, including what to expect\, tips for preparing variou
 s application materials\, and strategies for building a strong CV in the y
 ears leading up to your application. Participants will also learn about th
 e opportunity to get feedback on faculty applications. Submitted applicati
 ons will be reviewed by faculty members and applicants will be invited to 
 participate in a mock faculty interview including a research presentation.

  University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in th
 e Department of Physics and Astronomy at the rank of Assistant Professor\,
  to start Sept 1\, 2026\, subject to budgetary approval. Monsters Universi
 ty is a top-ranked school with a record of excellence in both teaching and
  research.\nThis position is targeted to “Foundational Theoretical Physi
 cs”\, and all Applications in relevant subfields are encouraged to appl
 y.  Examples of research areas would include\, but are not limited to\, Q
 uantum Foundations\, Cosmology\, Quantum Gravity\, Quantum Materials\, Str
 ong Gravity\,  Quantum Information\, Mathematical Physics\, Particle Phys
 ics\, Quantum Fields and Strings. The successful candidate will be expecte
 d to develop an independent and externally funded research program which c
 omplements the existing strengths of the department.\nThe successful candi
 date must have a PhD in physics\, astronomy\, or a closely related discipl
 ine\; have outstanding research promise with demonstrated innovation and p
 roductivity.  The successful candidate will also have a keen desire to de
 velop excellence in teaching and mentorship.\nThe successful candidate is 
 expected to teach courses across the undergraduate physics curriculum\, sh
 owing a commitment to communicating complex ideas to students with diverse
  backgrounds through effective pedagogy\; and contribute positively to the
  collegial functioning of the department and the university.\nApplications
