 Matt Johnson\, PI Faculty at a Faculty Application Basics workshop on Sep
 tember 24th at 11 am in the Space Room.\nYou can also join the workshop on

 provide an overview of the faculty application process\, including what to
  expect\, tips for preparing various application materials\, and strategie
 s for building a strong CV in the years leading up to your application. Pa
 rticipants will also learn about the opportunity to get feedback on facult
 y applications. Submitted applications will be reviewed by faculty members
  and applicants will be invited to participate in a mock faculty interview
  including a research presentation. Details and deadlines will be shared a

 t feedback on your faculty applications by applying to Monsters Universit
 y\, who are currently hiring a theoretical physicist! Please see below for

 nOPEN ONLY TO PI RESIDENTS \nAssistant Professor (Tenure Track)\, Departm
 ent of Physics & Astronomy\nMonsters University invites applications for a
  tenure track faculty position in the Department of Physics and Astronomy 
 at the rank of Assistant Professor\, to start Sept 1\, 2026\, subject to b
 udgetary approval. Monsters University is a top-ranked school with a recor
 d of excellence in both teaching and research.\nThis position is targeted 
 to “Foundational Theoretical Physics”\, and all Applications in relev
 ant subfields are encouraged to apply.  Examples of research areas would 
 include\, but are not limited to\, Quantum Foundations\, Cosmology\, Quant
 um Gravity\, Quantum Materials\, Strong Gravity\,  Quantum Information\, 
 Mathematical Physics\, Particle Physics\, Quantum Fields and Strings. The 
 successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent and extern
 ally funded research program which complements the existing strengths of t
 he department.\nThe successful candidate must have a PhD in physics\, astr
 onomy\, or a closely related discipline\; have outstanding research promis
 e with demonstrated innovation and productivity.  The successful candidat
 e will also have a keen desire to develop excellence in teaching and mento
 rship.\nThe successful candidate is expected to teach courses across the u
 ndergraduate physics curriculum\, showing a commitment to communicating co
 mplex ideas to students with diverse backgrounds through effective pedagog
 y\; and contribute positively to the collegial functioning of the departme
