Description
In its first year of operation, the recently launched XRISM X-ray satellite observed approximately ten galaxy clusters and galaxies, delivering high-resolution spectroscopic data. These observations enabled, for the first time in many systems, direct measurements of hot gas velocities. In this talk, I will present a selection of early XRISM results and discuss their implications for our understanding of AGN feedback and the dynamics of cluster mergers.
