Description

AGN feedback is considered to be an important mechanism for solving the cooling flow problem observed in the intracluster medium (ICM) of galaxy clusters. In this flash talk, I will present preliminary measurements of the velocity dispersion in the core of the Virgo cluster using XRISM/Resolve observations. These results provide insight into the role of AGN feedback in driving small-scale gas motions and regulating star formation.
