Lightning Talks and Poster Session
Lightning Talks-
Early on Wednesday afternoon (June 25), we will have a series of 1 minute long “lightning talks” from each poster presenter, to give you an opportunity to advertise your work prior to the poster session. Please prepare a single slide and a very brief talk (no longer than 1 minute in duration) summarizing your poster.

Poster Session
As part of the poster session, we will be holding a poster competition

One prize of $500 CAD for "best poster"

Two "runner-up" prizes of $275 CAD

Please be prepared to explain your work to the poster judges as they circulate throughout the session.
Guidelines for accepted poster presenters:
- Maximum poster dimensions are 4ft (h) x 3ft (w)
- Once the display boards are set up, presenters are free to choose any available board.
- Tear down is immediately following the poster session unless otherwise advised.
- Poster presenters will be asked to give a 1 min flash talk prior to the poster session
Please note: Conference organizers cannot assist with poster printing. We recommend you plan to bring your poster with you. If you cannot travel with your poster and wish to print here in Waterloo there are several local printer options:
