Ground Transportation to Perimeter

 Airport transportation: Most attendees will be arriving at Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Please take advantage of this sign-up sheet to coordinate airport transportation with others. Tab 1 is for arrivals, and tab 2 is for departures.

We’re counting on you to self-organize; the organizers will not monitor or coordinate the sign-up sheet.

The trip from Pearson to Waterloo is approximately 1 hr. The best options are Uber (book in advance or on arrival), Waterloo Taxi (you must book in advance here https://waterlootaxi.ca/), and Airways Transit (shuttle service - book in advance or on arrival).

If flying, we suggest that you book your flight to arrive at Toronto's Toronto International Airport (YYZ) or the Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF).

Uber is convenient for airport transportation.

Airways Transit (estimated travel time 1hr) Airways Transit connects Toronto (Pearson), Hamilton (Munro), and Region of Waterloo International Airports with the Kitchener-Waterloo area by providing 24-hour shared ride door-to-door service. GO transit may have bus/train options depending on your arrival date and time (2+hr travel time).

Car Rentals Upon arrival at any of the terminals at Pearson International Airport, there are several car rental agencies to choose from. Their booths are located on the arrivals level. The cost of a car rental depends on the type of vehicle you would like and the length of the stay. 

Please note that parking is extremely limited at Perimeter Institute, and you must have a parking permit to park in the lot long term.
