Code of Conduct

The string community is committed to providing an environment at the Strings conference that is free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.  Conference participants will treat each other with respect to create a collegial, inclusive, and professional environment. This code applies both to in-person behaviors and when using any communication channels.

At the Perimeter Institute, we strongly believe that our community and our science benefit when everyone feels safe to contribute and empowered to do so. Together, as a community of students, researchers, staff, volunteers, and visitors, we strive to provide a respectful environment in which all individuals feel safe and welcomed.

Perimeter is committed to providing an environment that is accessible and inclusive to all persons who work, study or visit the Institute (including volunteers, patrons and third party contractors). The Institute will strive to ensure that its policies, practices and procedures are consistent with the core principles as outlined in the AODA: dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity.

Please read our Accessibility for Ontarians With Disabilities Act (AODA) Policy.
