Directions to conference venues

50 years of Horndeski Gravity is split between Federation Hall on the University of Waterloo campus (July 15-16) and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics (July 17-19).  The two venues are separated by a pleasant 30 minute walk through campus and Waterloo park.

Federation Hall (Fed Hall) is on the campus ring road at the north-western end of campus.  It is marked as FED on the University of Waterloo campus map. The walking directions on Google maps work very well on campus and are recommended.

Vistor parking is available at the University of Waterloo campus.

  • Lot M, accessible from the ring road, is the nearest to Federation Hall and charges \$14 per day. It's located directly across from Federation Hall, though parking space is limited.
  • In increasing distance from Federation Hall, additional parking can be found in Lots N, W, X and C.  Each cost \$7 per day. Lot N is reachable from Ring Road at the campus's north end (via the Columbia Road entrance), while Lots W and X are accessible from Hagey Boulevard, just off Columbia.  Lot C is situated south of campus, off University Avenue.
